Skyscanner, Democratising Experimentation

Tooling Design, A/B Testing

Removing bias from a/b testing at Skyscanner.
I redesigned our Skyscanner's internal experimentation tool, Dr. Jekyll and help teams run a/b tests more effectively. I developed a method and UI that helped teams better understand how running a/b tests with the right amount of traffic and time, could yield significant results.
I also designed a 4 step multi-method approach called “Step Zero“ to help product teams Understand, Define, Make and Release experiments. This process helped teams form hypotheses based on qualitative research. Step Zero became part of Skyscanner’s experimentation education materials, for onboarding new employees interested in conducting a/b tests.
